Hey! We Got A Darts Section!
Hey all. The Monks Head has always had an understated, but perfectly formed, darts culture. Our current darts portfolio features some pretty glamorous if eccentric individuals. One such is everyone’s favourite powder-coating arrowsmith, known only as ‘Tim’. Casual observers might easily believe that Tim must be the guy that Robert Ludlum based the ‘Jason Bourne’ character on, but anyone who knows Tim will tell you that’s a load of bollocks just an urban legend.
Moving on…
We’ve opened up a Darts section on the site and we’re kicking off with an open invite to all amateur darts players to sign up at the Monk’s Head for the 2008 John Smith’s People’s Darts tournament. This is a significant generator of money for charity and we urge you to at least take a look. Check out the Darts pages. Knockout match nights are Friday 3rd and Friday 10th October 2008. Don’t say you wozznt warned.
We’re still figuring out the structure of this blog (site?). If you want to make a suggestion, use the comments feature below. We’re open to any suggestions that don’t involve rubber and lubricants or any cruelty to animals. We don’t do that stuff.
And if you’re thinking what I think you’re thinking, understand that I enjoy nothing more than drinking bleach whilst sticking rusty needles into my eyes.

hey loads of boring footy [only joking] someones got to like it i like the beer an darts as you do dont mind the rusty needles but the bleach burns me lips and was lucky to win the darts beating man city 4 0 only because someone left the window open and blew me darts in the doubles

Hmm Congrats on win,Lucky for you i had a hangover and did not play as it would been embarrassing for you to be beaten by a female anyway good luck Tim.
